A soft texture and sweet attack on the palate. Blending with 5 years oak-aged shochu leads to fruity & spicy aromas like rum raisin, orange peels, vanilla, pepper, pear, nectarine, marzipan. The nuanced and elegant impression keeps until the end. Long finish. Enjoy straight or on the rocks. The awarded bottle design is symbolised the brand name SHORYU, which refers the rising dragon.

Producer: 昇龍 shoryu

Harada Shuzo is located on Okierabu island. The current owner has inherited this small distillery in 1972, and since then they have decided to produce a unique and delicious Kokuto (brown sugar) Shochu, to survive as a small distillery. They started barrel aging and blending and achieved an aromatic and full-bodied Kokuto Shochu. The brand name "Rising Dragon" was inspired by an image that came to the owner while contemplating the full moon.
